A walk around Moors Valley Country Park.
I've decided to do my first blog, so I spent 1 1/2 hours walking around Moors Valley this morning and trie to take some nice Pics..
The main entrance to Moors Valley. Inside is a a large family cafe, and a photo exhibition is currently being shown.
The walk around the lake provides some good views.
Well, I say lake, more like an ice rink at present!
Dancing on ice here we come.
There are a large number of big wood carvings all over the park.
This one is huge, and marks the start of the forest walk, which has loads of routes for walkers and bikes.
Where there's a tree there's a robin, or thats how it seems at the moment.
Mile after mile of tracks criss cross the forest.

The entrance to the play trail, this part of the walk has some large play areas all made from wood from the the forest.
This is part of the 'Go Ape' course. Its like an obstacle course in the tree canopy.
One of the zip lines going through the trees.
There's also a narrow guage railway. There are about 4 stations dotted around the park.
They were running all the trains up today.

Looks a nice country park I had no idea where it was situated so checked it out on Google found this link http://www.moors-valley.co.uk/.
Last year I was up in Leicestershire and they had a park very simular that also had a steam train line running in it , for the life of me I cant remember the name of it .
Any How enjoyed your blog well done you are so lucky to have a place like this on your door step
